Yumemi, also known as Yume or Memi, is a 2.5D VTuber, singer, idol, and voice actor from Canada.
Yumemi has been active as a 3D idol and singer since 2016 and active as a 2D VTuber since 2020. She has made numerous convention appearances.
History[]
Background[]
Prior to becoming a VTuber, her achievements as an independent idol include Winner of Anime North 2016 AN Idol contest and Winner of Anime North 2018 AN Ultimate Idol contest (featuring winners of prior years). On 23 November 2019, she held "Yumemi's Winter Live Concert" - her first solo, live band, one-man live concert at Toronto's Distillery District Dancemakers Studio.
In 2020, she began streaming activites as a VTuber. Her first stream took place on 1 October 2020.
2023[]
On 5 May, three years into her Vtuber career, she finally held a formal VTuber debut stream.[1][2] She also made her First digital release of an original song on Spotify and YouTube - 鮮やかな空 (Asayaka no Sora) / Brilliant Sky.
