Yuno Hanaki (華鬼結望) is an independent female English-speaking Virtual YouTuber formerly affiliated with production kawaii's "Hanamizuki," alongside Ran Tsukiha, and Kaya Nishikino.

Once a renowned performer in her village, Yuno was banished and exiled to Onigashima after angering a noble customer. Seeing how disheartened she is by the rejection from those she thought loved her, the oni natives take pity on her and perform a ritual that makes her partially oni to help her integrate better. Performing for them makes her happy at first, but she soon realizes it isn't enough and becomes disillusioned with performing entirely. Not fully an oni and yet no longer human, she's torn between both worlds and disconnected from them at the same time, making her feel really lonely. She discovers idols and VTubers by chance when researching what things normal human girls are interested in these days and becomes enamored by them. Inspired for the first time in a long time, Yuno decides to become a streamer with the goal of connecting to as many different kinds of people as possible.[2]

She has long brunette hair and green undertones with her bangs pinned back and purple eyes and a gold hair ornament with a green traditional looking Asian robe and a thick green neck accessory with golden outline and a butterfly-like clasp in the middle.

Her YouTube channel was created on 4 October 2023, her Twitter account was created in the same month.
On 2 October, production kawaii revealed three Twitter accounts, supposed to be new members.[3] After the announcement, she made her first Tweet.[4]
On 5 October, production kawaii announced their new generation "Hanamizuki," and their debut schedule on the next day.[5][6]
On 8 October, Isla Coleman made a stream to reveal Hanamizuki logo and its members.[7] After the stream, production kawaii officially announced their names and channels, consisting of three members: Yuno Hanaki, Ran Tsukiha, and Kaya Nishikino.[8]
On 15 October 2023, Yuno debuted on her YouTube channel, and was the first member to debut. She also released her first solo cover song "Hyakkisai" by Kanaria during the stream.
2023[]
On 20 November, Yuno opened membership on her YouTube channel.[9]
2024[]
On 27 March, Yuno reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[10]
Disbanding[]
On 9 October, Production kawaii announced that it would be ceasing operations as of 30 November 2024. All 15 talents would be able to keep their channels and social media accounts starting 1 December.[11] Yuno also made an announcement that she would continue her activities as an independent VTuber.[12]
Mascots and Fans[]
- Her mascots are a red fireball and a blue fireball named "Hitodama" and "Onibi."
- Her fans are called "Damadachi."
- Her members are called "Onibito." They have three tiers: "OniLights," "Shadowfire," and "Soulfire."
Trivia[]
- All members of Hanamizuki are somewhat associated with flowers, for Yuno is bellflower, which is also tattooed on her left thigh.
- Her member color is #DCD0FF.
- She used to be a human, then turned into a half-human and half-demon when she was 21 years old, after events. She hasn't aged since.[13]
- Her birthday on 3 February is also Setsubun, the day before the beginning of spring in Japan old calendar.
- Her hobby is collecting beautiful fans.
- She likes noodles dishes, ice cream, cold drinks, reading, writing, performing, fashion, cute stationery, and musicals.
- She dislikes by cold weather, sour candy, beans, practicing penmanship, bad acting, misspellings, running out of groceries, sunlight, cliffhangers.
