Rebranding[]
On 19 October, EIEN Project announced its closure on 3 November 2024. While most of their talents will continue to operate as their current personas, Zumi will be rebranding as a new indie persona after that date.[1]
On 2 November, Zumi graduated. As accepted by her agency, she revealed she would continue her streaming activities as Ferumi Kaipa.

- Each year, Zumi was called to the healing fountain to help with the venom within her. However, one year she found the fountain was completely frozen over. She desperately yearned for the healing of the fountain, but it remained frozen and cold. So, Zumi went off on a journey to find the Wishmaker of the Sea as a last resort. But as she sailed the waters, a storm came and her small boat became out of her control. She slowly began to lose hope of making it. Then, her boat capsized, and she sank into the water. She was giving up, thinking it would be better this way and that no one would miss a poisonous frog like her. She then noticed her poison seeping out, tainting the sea and killing the sealife. She later woke up on a deserted island, and was relieved that she was far away from others, where she couldn’t hurt them anymore. One day, while she was gathering supplies on the beach, she saw a strange something in the water and went to investigate. Suddenly, a bright light shone from the depths of the ocean, and from it emerged the Wishmaker. The Wishmaker offered to cure Zumi’s condition, but with a steep price. Zumi accepted without hesitation, and the Wishmaker began to cast the spell. But looking at her, casting the spell with dark eyes and a twisted smile, Zumi realized she’d made a terrible mistake. Before she could utter a single word, a portal appeared behind her and a strange figure pulled her through.
- The “strange figure” that pulled Zumi through was Kilia Kurayami, and the scene where Zumi’s poison infects the water matches up with the polluted ocean found in Kilia’s lore.
